Terms of Use
Effective July 24, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Kept app, website, and related services. By using Kept, you agree to these Terms.
Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method secure, and be legally able to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit to Kept. You give Kept a limited, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to follow the sharing choices you make.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
Acceptable use
You may not use Kept to:
- break the law, infringe rights, or harass or harm others;
- upload malware or attempt to bypass security or access controls;
- scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service; or
- misrepresent your identity or use another person’s account.
Place information and generated assistance
Place details, suggestions, and generated text may be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify important information independently. Kept does not guarantee that a place is open, safe, available, or accurately described.
Third-party services
Kept may use or link to third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Kept is not responsible for third-party content or availability.
Service changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or a material violation of these Terms. You may stop using Kept or delete your account at any time from the app.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Kept is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these exclusions may not fully apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kept and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Kept will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid Kept during the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will post the effective date here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to hello@kept.so.
